Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have specific health goals?

Not at all. Some people come with very clear goals, while others simply know they're exhausted, overwhelmed, or struggling to prioritise themselves. Coaching can help create clarity, identify what's getting in the way, and support small sustainable changes that fit real life.

What if I already know what I 'should' be doing?

You're not alone. Many people already understand the basics of healthy habits, but finding time, energy, consistency, or headspace to maintain them can feel difficult when life is busy or stressful.

Coaching isn't about judgement or giving lectures. It's about support, accountability, and finding realistic ways forward that work for your life.

Is coaching right for burnout or overwhlem?

Coaching can be really helpful for people experiencing stress, overwhelm, or early signs of burnout, particularly when life feels constantly 'full' and your own wellbeing keeps slipping down the priority list.

Together we might explore:

- stress levels and coping patterns

- routines and boundaries

- rest and recovery

- sustainable habits

- creating more space and balance

Coaching is not therapy or crisis support, but it can complement other forms of support very well.

What if my life already feels too busy?

This is probably the most common concern people bring.

Coaching shouldn't feel like another pressure or item on your to-do list. The aim is to make life feel more manageable, not more overwhelming.

Sessions are designed to support realistic, compassionate change rather than perfectionism or 'doing more'.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. Sessions can take place online via video call, which many clients find easier to fit around work, family life, and other commitments. Please get in touch if you prefer in-person sessions.

What happens in a coaching session?

Sessions are conversational, supportive, and tailored to you. We'll explore what's going on in your life, what matters most to you, what feels challenging and what kind of support or change would feel helpful.

There's no bootcamp energy, judgement, or pressure to have everything figured out.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies from person to person. Some people benefit from a short period of focused support, while others prefer ongoing sessions for accountability and reflection over time.

We can discuss what feels right for you during a free pre-coaching consultation session.

Can coaching help with motivation?

This is Yes, often very effectively.

Many people know what would help, buy struggle to maintain habits when stress, exhaustion, work pressures, caring responsibilities, or everyday life get in the way. Coaching can help bridge the gap between knowing and doing in a more sustainable and compassionate way.

Is this nutritional advice or medical treatment?

No. Coaching is not a replacement for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. It's a supportive space focused on wellbeing, behaviour change, reflection, and practical support.

Where appropriate, coaching can work alongside support from your GP and other healthcare professionals.
